The VAGA Airdrop was a significant event in the VagaChain ecosystem, aimed at distributing VAGA coins to the existing holders of the Vagabond VGO (BSC) and VGB (XRPL) tokens. A total of 40 million VAGA coins were allocated for this purpose. This airdrop was a way to reward the early supporters and adopters of the Vagabond project, providing them with a stake in the new VagaChain network. The process was designed for transparency and ease of use, allowing all eligible participants to verify and claim their VAGA coins seamlessly.

Faucet accounts used for the airdrop distribution:
VGO (BSC) token holders will need to connect their wallets through Wallet Connect if not done so already.
VGB (XRPL) token holders will need to connect their XUMM wallet.
Users who had their BSC and XRPL wallets previously connected to the V-Wallet (web) will notice that their wallets are already connected and shown, including their VAGA coin amount(s) for claiming.
All support requests will be handled and replied to in a 24-48h period.
On the VagaWallet Home Screen, select the options ≡ button located on the top left of the screen.
In the settings screen, select the "airdrop" option.
In the next screen displayed, you will see a claim button with the VAGA coin amount that is available to be claimed.
Carefully review the amount displayed and confirm that it is the correct amount before finalising the claim.
Once you have confirmed the coin amount, hit the finalise button.
The claiming process is now complete and the VAGA coins should shortly show up in your VAGA account balance.
Attention! The claiming process can only be done once and it is not possible to change the connected VGO and/or VGB accounts after hitting the claim button to make any corrections. Once the claim button is hit, the process is final and cannot be undone.
On the new , we enabled users to connect their wallets in order to verify the amount of VAGA that they will be able to claim.
Please be reminded that the connected wallet account must be the same account that contained your VGO / VGB token holdings at the time of the snapshot. More info regarding the snapshot for the VAGA Airdrop in the following .
Users who didn’t hold their VGB on XUMM, but instead on a different self-custody wallet (Ledger Nano, D’Cent, etc..), please contact the Vagabond Support Team by opening a support ticket through our .
