Create your very first NFT Marketplace

Start by visiting the Vagabond homepage

Login to your account or create a new one if you haven’t done so already and then click on the Start Now button available on the homepage. This will take you to the Vagabond dashboard.

Choosing the blockchain technology to work with

The Vagabond NFT Marketplace builder runs on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) with the VGO token and on the XRPL with the VGB token. After choosing your blockchain technology of choice, let’s then begin by setting up your V-Wallet.

Profile setup

Back to the settings tab on the dashboard, select My Account and fill in your profile information. Please be careful with the information you wish to add to your profile as it will be publicly displayed. Set your desired email and push notifications and click save.

Visit the Project Setup description page

Now is when the fun begins. Having the basics now setup, we are ready to finally start creating our very own NFT Marketplace.

New Project

• Choose the module of your project and give it a name

• Select your network, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) or XRPL

• Upload your shop logo and front page banner (PNG, JPG or GIF up to 10MB)

• Input your personal information

• Project preferences

  • Shop features

    • Choose between digital content or physical products for the items to be minted as NFT’s

  • Resources

    • Tick all the boxes for a completely worry-free database and storage management of your project

  • At the end, set your Master Password and click save

Page content (Edit Page)

Select your newly created project on the projects tab.

• Select Edit Page

• Fill in the content you wish to be published on your NFT Marketplace Shopfront

• Banner / Banner Description, this will be shown on the main page of your Shopfront

• About page content

• Add perks to your Shopfront

• Click save when your done

Create your NFT collection (Mint NFT)

Here we begin with the process of minting our digital media files onto the blockchain. Once you have prepared and selected which media files you wish to mint, select the corresponding file type:

Image / Video

Set the name, description, price and royalties for your NFT Upload the file you wish to mint (up to 50MB).

Audio

Set the name, description, price and royalties for your NFT Upload the sound file you wish to mint (up to 50MB), as well as a cover image (up to 50MB).

Saving your NFT (XRPL)

1 transaction confirmation required to mint the NFT. Sign the transaction with your XUMM wallet app. Please do not reload the page till the transaction has completed!

Saving your NFT (BSC)

2 transaction confirmations are required, one to mint the NFT on the blockchain and another to list the NFT. It is not possible with BSC to only mint the NFT on the blockchain and not list the item. Confirm both transactions with your MetaMask wallet, one will happen after the other. Take note of the on-chain BSC gas fees. Please do not reload the page till both transactions have completed!

View your listed items (Shop items)

All minted and listed NFT’s will be shown. Listed items will have the option to cancel an offer (delist the NFT) as well as a burning option to remove the NFT from the blockchain and revoke ownership.

View your non-listed items (My items)

All minted but non listed NFT’s will be shown. Minted items will have the option to create an offer (list the NFT) and set price, as well as a burning option to remove the NFT from the blockchain and revoke ownership.

Visualizing completed NFT Marketplace (Shopfront)

Congratulations, you have successfully set up your own NFT Marketplace! You're now part of a global decentralized NFT community that creates, sells and buys using the Vagabond Marketplace solution.

To view your Shopfront, click on the Visit button located on the top right corner and a new tab will open with your shop.
