▪️Validator Onboarding Program
Participate in the pre-selection of high-quality validator node operators
What is it?
During the initial phase of onboarding public validator node operators, Vagabond will conduct a pre-selection of interested participants to ensure the best possible support experience and a trusted selection of high-quality validator node operators to kickstart the decentralisation process of the VagaChain blockchain network.
Who can participate?
Anyone can participate! Priority will be given in accordance to:
Experienced validator node operators
Vagabond partners / customers
Trusted community members
Early birds
The onboarding process is meant to reward those who have continuously participated in the Vagabond ecosystem/community and have shown obvious willingness to run a high-quality validator node with long term prospections.
How can I participate?
To participate in the pre-selection, interested individuals should open a support ticket with the following required information included:
Twitter handle, Telegram username and/or Discord username
Previous validator node operating experience (if any)
Server operation and Linux expertise level
Currently running validator nodes on other networks (if any)
E-mail (must the same used on vagabonds.cloud)
What does getting onboarded mean?
Getting onboarded means receiving an email from the Vagabond team notifying you that:
your application has been approved
you will be contacted by the Vagabond team to set a calendar date for a live meeting
you may become eligible to receive a delegation of stake from Vagabond if your validator node on Mainnet meets the expected performance and up time.
Until when can I participate?
The validator onboarding program will continue to run until we have approximately 30-50 high-quality validator nodes running on the VagaChain blockchain network.
After this milestone is reached and network stability is verified, Vagabond will allow anyone to run a node or validator node on VagaChain to further decentralise the network.
