Gain Passive Yield
Due to bad actors in the ecosystem, the reward system has been halted indefinitely.
Vagabond will substitute this system with a delegation (staking) platform for VAGA coin holders. This will be made available in future VagaWallet updates.
Overview
You can use your VagaWallet to take snapshots (snaps) of your Vagabond token/coin holdings to gain reward points. Don't just let your tokens sit in your wallet, it's time to gain daily passive income with your VagaWallet!
Yield:
The rewards program works as follows: 0.083% per day / 2.5% APM / 30% APR
Staking vs account balance Snapping:
Users may refer to the rewards program as “staking”, although this is not technically correct. You are not committing your tokens to a contract and/or locking them in any way. Full self-custody is kept 100% always. Users may trade, transfer and use their tokens and still be able to take a snapshot at the end of the day with no repercussions.
How to Snap (Reward Points)
Good to know:
A snapshot, or "snap" for short, can be taken once in every 24 hour period.
Open and login into your VagaWallet
On the home screen, select the Snap Exchange 🔃 button available on the left side of the Vagabond logo in the bottom menu bar
On the next screen you will be able to verify your reward point balance, reward points to snap and the option to exchange your points into tokens
Click the Snap button
Voila! You have just successfully taken a snapshot of all registered account balances
How to Exchange Reward Points
Reward points can be exchanged 1:1 into $VGO (BSC), $VGB (XRPL), or into the native $VAGA coin of the VagaChain blockchain.
Open and login into your VagaWallet
On the home screen, select the Snap Exchange 🔃 button available on the left side of the Vagabond logo in the bottom menu bar
On the next screen you will be able to verify your reward point balance, reward points to snap and the option to exchange your points into tokens
Enter the amount of reward points you wish to exchange, must not exceed reward balance
Select token or coin of choice to receive
Click the Claim button
Voila! You have just successfully exchanged your reward points for tokens
